About the storytellers:

Margot Farrington has been telling stories since 1988, performing at museums, arts organizations, festivals, schools, and libraries. She has performed at such places as Riverfest 2005 in Massachusetts, Andes Society for History & Culture, The Brooklyn Historical Society, and The Roxbury Arts Group. Of her work, Fabiana Chiu, curator at the Brooklyn Historical Society said:"She held young and old alike spellbound. Her powerful performance showed the dedication of a true professional who has great respect for her audiences and her work."

H.R. Britton (Overcoat Theater) will be telling stories at Philadelphia's Fringe Festival this year. Prior to The Auk appearance, Britton performed "From Madison to Madurai" at UNDER St. Mark's in Manhattan's East Village in March of this year, and he has performed stories at other venues in the downtown area, and at BAM in Brooklyn. His performance of "The Nose" and other offerings is available on tape.
